Our mission is to create original programming that inspires and entertains audiences across the world. Our vision is to make stories for people who want a better view of humanity.
We unshackle screen story from tradition and convention to find new ways of bringing authentic and original narratives to life. Whether that be unshackling story from harmful stereotypes and historical tropes or unshackling story from old ways of production – we look for humanity, transformation and legacy from all our original content.
Metamorflix is based in Perth, Western Australia and was founded by managing director, Renee Kennedy. For nearly 10 years, our nimble and energetic company has built a strong reputation for producing award-winning screen content. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional programming, on budget and on schedule every time, to our broadcast and distribution partners.

We have been recognised by Screen Producers Australia Awards, ATOM Awards, Hot Docs Canadian International Film Festival, Festival Du Film Oceanien, CineFest Oz, Perth Revelation Film Festival, Los Angeles CineFest, Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival, the West Australia Screen Awards and the Winda Film Festival.
We actively look for domestic and international co-production opportunities and can provide services to travelling productions requiring local support.
